The newsletter frames a tense premise: speed and scale are intoxicating advantages, but the consequences of misreads in high-stakes contexts are catastrophic. The piece sits alongside other earthbound signals—like infrasounds from seismic and environmental events—that remind readers that data streams humans can’t directly sense are becoming central to how decisions get made in both civilian and military arenas. It’s a sharp reminder that the AI revolution isn’t only about chatbots and benchmarks; it’s about how much trust, control, and accountability we’re willing to bake into life-and-death decisions.
