Swarm Agents combine Claude's planning API with decentralized negotiation modules designed by MIT's Distributed Robotics Lab. The system lets robots trade task assignments in seconds when bottlenecks or maintenance events hit a zone.

Logistics provider ShipHero deployed the agents across two U.S. warehouses, where simulated peak season loads used to overwhelm static dispatchers. After migrating to Swarm Agents, the company measured faster cycle counts and fewer idle minutes per picker.

Anthropic is shipping the stack on Nvidia Jetson Orin modules hardened for dust and vibration. Integrators can connect safety I/O for e-stops and floor beacons through a ROS 2 bridge that the company open-sourced alongside the launch.
