Dreame D30 Ultra Adds Dock Features, Keeps Limits

The Dreame D30 Ultra is Dreame’s most advanced entry-level D-series robot vacuum, according to Vacuum Wars.

It adds an all-in-one dock with self-emptying, mop washing, and mop drying. It also uses dual spinning mops. The mops can lift and extend for edges.

Vacuum Wars says the D30 Ultra includes LiDAR mapping and a 3D structured-light obstacle system. It also ships with Dreame’s TriCut anti-tangle brush.

The listed price was $539.99. Vacuum Wars showed a $449.99 sale price, a $90 discount.

Its strongest results were debris pickup, carpet deep cleaning, navigation, and battery efficiency. In Vacuum Wars’ carpet test, it scored 84. The site’s average score was 78.

The D30 Ultra also scored 3 for crevice pickup. Vacuum Wars listed a 2 average.

The catch is clear. Vacuum Wars found weak obstacle avoidance, light-duty mopping, and below-average pet-hair pickup. Its dustbin is also relatively small.
