The system uses ForwardX autonomous mobile robots, Siasun gantries and a Huawei cloud backbone. Production control commands now flow through a real-time digital twin that tracks each cell module from coating to pack assembly.
Gotion says the upgrade stabilized throughput as it ramps LFP battery exports to Europe. The company can now trace defective lots within minutes, simplifying compliance with EU battery passport rules.
Provincial officials in Anhui are promoting the project as a blueprint for smart manufacturing upgrades. Gotion plans to export the architecture to its Gotine factory in Michigan once U.S. approvals land.
