Terra G3 anchors itself to three magnetic beacons that triangulate position while a front-facing camera handles obstacle avoidance. Setup now takes under an hour, and the mower supports multi-zone scheduling through the iRobot OS app.

Beta testers in Oregon reported cleaner striping patterns and quieter operation thanks to a brushless drive train. The mower also integrates with iRobot's new water-saving mode, pausing cuts after rainfall to protect turf health.

iRobot plans to ship Terra G3 in North America this spring with optional subscription packages for blade replacements and winter storage. European launches will follow pending regulatory approvals for wireless beacons.
