Orion extends Isaac Sim with generative synthetic sensor capture that stitches LiDAR, radar and vision streams into unified datasets. Integrators can render edge cases like glare-heavy loading docks and pop them into policy training without hand labeling.
Early testers at DHL and Komatsu used Orion to spin up reinforcement learning curricula that adapt to weather shifts. Nvidia says pairing Earth-2 with Blackwell accelerates multi-sensor simulation by 40% compared with last year's GH200 cluster references.
The stack ships with deployment templates for Jetson Thor and IGX Orin platforms. Nvidia plans to certify third-party safety wrappers so customers can plug Orion-trained policies into existing PLC networks without ripping out control cabinets.
