Humanoid raises $152 million Series A at $1.35 billion valuation

The U.K.-based industrial robotics company plans to roll out Beta robots in the fourth quarter of 2026 and begin mass manufacturing of wheeled humanoid robots.

Humanoid has raised $152 million in Series A financing at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation, bringing its total funding to date to $270 million.

Prime Movers Lab led the round, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital, and Aglaé Ventures. Humanoid said the capital will support development of its next-generation humanoid platform, commercial deployments, AI and software development, and the start of mass manufacturing of wheel-based humanoid robots.

The company, founded as SKL Robotics Ltd. in 2024, is offering early access to its HMND 01 Alpha Wheeled system, a bimanual mobile manipulator. Humanoid is also developing a bipedal version of the robot.

Humanoid said it plans to begin rolling out Beta-version robots in the fourth quarter of 2026. Its target markets include logistics, manufacturing, retail, and other industrial sectors.

The company’s software stack, KinetIQ, is an AI framework for end-to-end orchestration of humanoid robot fleets. KinetIQ Ascend extends the framework with trial-and-error learning capabilities, according to Humanoid.

Humanoid’s stated longer-term goal is a general-purpose robot for industrial applications. For now, its funding plan centers on advancing the platform, expanding commercial deployments and preparing wheel-based systems for manufacturing.
