Shark Unveils Luxe Color Line for Vacuums

By Riley Hart

Shark's Luxe color collection turns vacuums into interior design. The eight new finishes roll out across the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal robot vacuum and mop and the PowerDetect Speed cordless vacuum with auto-empty dock. The collection marks the brand’s first coordinated cross category color launch and is designed to help cleaning devices blend with modern living spaces rather than shout from the shelf, the company says.

Eight finishes are on offer: Espresso, Walnut, Ivory, Oatstone, Evergreen, Sagewood, Deep Harbor, and Harbor Slate. The Luxe Collection version of the PowerDetect UV Reveal is available in Evergreen, Ivory, Deep Harbor, and Espresso. The move is cosmetic rather than a hardware refresh; there are no announced changes to features or performance beyond color. The UV Reveal remains SharkNinja’s flagship robot vacuum and mop system, with a self empty base and an automated mop cleaning system that uses UV light detection to spot hidden messes.

On cost, SharkNinja emphasizes there is no added price tag tied to the Luxe colors. The company says the colors are a cosmetic update and do not require new subscriptions or service fees; the cost to consumers should be the same as the existing PowerDetect UV Reveal and PowerDetect Speed models when purchased in Luxe finishes. In other words, total cost to shoppers is the price of the product plus no extra ongoing commitments.

This design-forward push fits a growing pattern in home appliances where aesthetics play a larger role in purchase decisions. By launching across two recently introduced models with a unified palette, SharkNinja aims to boost showroom appeal and cross-category visibility without complicating firmware or hardware roadmaps. The strategy reduces the risk of a buggy redesign while offering a tangible way for buyers to match devices to their decor. Still, the real test will be whether color alone entices more purchases or simply adds a cosmetic option for existing customers.

Industry watchers will also want to see how color introductions like Luxe influence aftersales and part availability. If the colors prove popular, SharkNinja could extend similar finishes to more models or future product lines, tightening the link between home design trends and cleaning tech. For now, the Luxe Collection serves as a restrained, design-first refresh that keeps current performance intact while giving consumers more ways to integrate cleaning chores into their living spaces without compromising the look of a room.
