SharkNinja Debuts Luxe Colors for Vacuums

By Riley Hart

SharkNinja's Luxe colors are here to blend cleaning tech into your living room, not boost suction.

Eight new finishes cover earth tones and muted neutrals: Espresso, Walnut, Ivory, Oatstone, Evergreen, Sagewood, Deep Harbor, Harbor Slate. The goal is to make cleaning devices feel less like conspicuous gadgets and more like decor elements that fit with modern interiors, a trend the company says reflects consumer demand for appliances that complement living spaces rather than dominate them. The Luxe Collection is rolling out across two recent Shark floorcare introductions, the PowerDetect UV Reveal robot vacuum and mop, and the PowerDetect Speed cordless vacuum with an auto-empty dock. Importantly, the company notes there are no announced hardware or feature changes tied to the color shift; this is a cosmetic refresh that sits atop existing capabilities.

For the PowerDetect UV Reveal line, SharkNinja has confirmed Luxe finishes in Evergreen, Ivory, Deep Harbor, and Espresso. The UV Reveal is pitched as SharkNinja’s flagship robot vacuum and mop system, notable for using UV light detection to spot hidden messes such as dried spills, pet accidents, and residue. The system also includes a self-empty base and an automated mop cleaning setup, elements that promise ongoing convenience alongside the added aesthetic flexibility of Luxe finishes. The release does not specify Luxe color options for the Speed cordless vacuum beyond saying the collection spans both models, so it remains unclear which of the eight hues will appear on the Speed variant at this time.

From a consumer standpoint, the message is clear: this is a cosmetic upgrade rather than a performance upgrade. There is no mention of price or subscription requirements in the announcement, and SharkNinja has not disclosed any hardware shifts that would change cleaning power or efficiency. In practice, the Luxe line invites buyers who care about interior cohesion to consider adding or upgrading a Shark unit primarily for its look, not for a new feature set. The lack of stated pricing also means shoppers must wait for retailer disclosures or future announcements to understand the total cost of adopting Luxe across one or both models.

Two practitioner insights emerge from this launch:

  • Coordinated color rollout across multiple product lines can strengthen in-store and online merchandising by enabling cross-category styling; consumers who want a cohesive home aesthetic have a clear reason to upgrade or purchase multiple SharkNinja devices to achieve uniform visuals.
  • The emphasis on color with no accompanying hardware changes signals a tradeoff: aesthetic differentiation may drive initial attention, but long term value for buyers will depend on whether the core cleaning features, such as UV detection on the UV Reveal or the auto-empty dock on the Speed, meet ongoing needs as models age. Retailers and designers will watch whether Luxe finishes hold up under daily use and whether finish consistency across plastics and trims remains reliable as customers handle cords, docks, and bases.
  • In the broader market, this move fits a pattern of tech brands leaning into home décor alignment as a differentiator. For SharkNinja, the Luxe Collection could become a platform for color-led branding that translates into repeat purchases or accessory sales if the finishes prove popular. If consumers respond well, the company may extend Luxe to additional models or new finishes, widening the palette and gradually blurring the line between appliance and accent piece.

What to watch next: will SharkNinja disclose prices and confirm broader color availability for the Speed model, and will Luxe expand to other Shark floorcare lines or future generations of the UV Reveal and Speed? Industry watchers will also look for real-world reviews on how these new finishes withstand wear and whether coloration impacts cleaning confidence or perceived value in design-conscious households.
