Damo Technology Launches AIDC Green Power Operations System at WAIC 2026
The platform combines power forecasting, compute scheduling, market trading and settlement controls for AI data centers moving toward gigawatt-scale operations.
Damo Technology launched its Compute Power and Electricity Coordination 2.0 platform on the opening day of the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, positioning the product as an AIDC green-power direct-connection energy operations system.
The company introduced the platform during a compute-and-energy coordination forum hosted by CIDC on July 17. It is intended for AI data centers that need to manage electricity use, renewable-energy consumption, storage assets, power-market transactions and large compute loads.
According to Damo, AI computing demand is driving domestic intelligent-computing center construction from hundreds of megawatts toward gigawatt-scale clusters. The company said a 1 GW computing facility operating at full load can consume about 8 billion to 9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.
Damo said Compute Power and Electricity Coordination 2.0 is an upgrade to its integrated forecasting, dispatch and trading solution released in April. The new platform uses what the company calls a dual-engine architecture, combining an energy large model with a multi-agent system.
The platform is designed to link data sensing, forecasting, strategy generation, operational dispatch, transaction execution, settlement and risk control, operating reviews and value delivery. Damo said it can support the operation of gigawatt-scale green AI computing centers.
Damo has highlighted four core functional engines within a planned set of 12. Its multi-source forecasting engine combines models covering renewable generation, weather, electricity prices, compute loads and dispatchable resources. The company said the engine can improve overall forecasting accuracy by 5% to 8%.
A second engine, for coordinated optimization of compute, power, energy storage and carbon, is designed to place compute scheduling, renewable generation, battery charging and discharging, electricity trading and carbon management in a unified decision process. Damo said it can raise overall resource-dispatch and trading efficiency by more than three times.
The platform also includes a dynamic position-management engine intended to replace static electricity procurement with adjustments across medium- and long-term contracts, spot-market conditions, power consumption, renewable-energy use and storage flexibility.
Damo describes the release as part of a broader shift in which energy management becomes more closely integrated with AI computing operations.
