Engineering documentation shows FF AI-Robotics raised $25 million in fresh funding through convertible promissory notes, joining $45 million of financing announced in April for a combined $70 million over two months. The funds are earmarked to advance its AI strategy and deliver humanoid and bionic robots, with a new machine slated for June 2026. Source

FF began selling its robots in February 2026 and had shipped 68 units by the end of April, with ambitious targets of 200 in Q2 and 1,500 by year end. The company has also disclosed a lineup announced earlier this year of three legged models: FF Futurist, FF Master, and FX Aegis. Source

In a broader distribution push, Faraday Future signed a memorandum of understanding with RobotShop to offer its robots on RobotShop’s platform, expanding product coverage across North America and other core markets. The deal is described as a practical path from product discovery to distribution. The company also reported more than 1,200 non-binding paid pre-orders at launch. Source

DOF counts and payload capacity for the humanoids are not disclosed in the current reports, and neither are power sources, runtimes, or charging requirements. That opacity mirrors the early stage of FF AI-Robotics’ mass rollout and leaves a lot of practical questions about what tasks these machines can handle and how they perform in real environments. As these numbers remain hidden, the feasibility of delivering 1,500 units by year end rests on the company’s ability to scale manufacturing, ensure quality, and support a growing service network.
