Luyten Opens Ascend A27 Reservations for Automated Tower-Crane Construction Platform
Early customers can secure priority production allocation through Oct. 25, 2026, with deposits credited toward the final purchase price.
Australian construction robotics company Luyten has opened early reservations for its Ascend A27 automated construction platform following its global launch.
Luyten said customers that reserve an Ascend A27 unit by Oct. 25, 2026, will receive priority access to the first production allocation and qualify for an introductory launch offer. Reservation deposits will be credited toward the final purchase price.
The Ascend A27 is designed to convert conventional tower cranes into robotic construction systems capable of automated, large-scale 3D concrete printing for vertical construction projects. Rather than requiring a new crane system, Luyten said the platform is intended to integrate with tower cranes already widely used across the construction industry.
Luyten describes the platform as combining robotics, artificial intelligence, digital manufacturing and machine-control technology. Its stated capabilities include autonomous construction functions, intelligent machine control, real-time environmental monitoring and adaptive print management intended to respond to changing site conditions while maintaining build quality and operational efficiency.
The company said the A27 builds on technology developed through its Platypus construction-printer portfolio, including the Platypus X12 engineering platform. Luyten used that platform to test robotic control systems, motion technologies and autonomous construction capabilities before integrating them into the tower-crane format.
