MOVA Unveils P70 Pro Ultra and P20 Ultra

By Riley Hart3 min read

MOVA has announced two new robot vacuums, the P70 Pro Ultra and the P20 Ultra. The P70 Pro Ultra leads the refreshed lineup with 30,000 Pa suction and a triple anti-tangle system.

Both models share a bold claim: 30,000 Pa of suction, dual spinning mop pads, and automated docking intended to simplify whole home cleaning. The standout is the P70 Pro Ultra, a flagship with a feature set designed to reduce hands on maintenance and improve edge work, while the P20 Ultra targets shoppers who want the same high end core cleaning without the premium price tag.

On paper, the P70 Pro Ultra stacks up as a long hunter for carpets and hard floors. MOVA describes a high speed motor capable of delivering up to 30,000 Pa of suction, a capability that positions it among the most powerful robot vacuums in the mid to high tier. The company also highlights a Triple Anti-Tangle System, which combines an optional CleanChop brush with spinning brushes to keep hair from wrapping around the suction path. For homes with long hair or pets, that combination is meant to reduce the usual maintenance downtime that plagues robotic cleaners. The P70 Pro Ultra also steps up mopping with dual spinning mop pads that rotate up to 260 RPM and press down with 12 N of downward force, a setup MOVA says helps lift dried stains and sticky footprints more effectively than a single disk approach.

Edge cleaning gets a dedicated boost through MaxiReach technology, which extends both the side brush and the mop to widen coverage along walls and corners. MOVA claims the system can deliver up to 100 percent edge coverage and can extend the mop up to four centimeters to reach into tight gaps near baseboards or furniture. The combination of stronger suction, more aggressive edge reach, and a mopping system designed for tougher messes is meant to translate into fewer rewashes and shorter follow up sessions.

The P70 Pro Ultra is priced at $799, with MOVA highlighting it as the premium option in its refreshed lineup. The released material notes two models in the line, but only the P70 Pro Ultra price is explicitly published in the material we have. The P20 Ultra is described as the value minded sibling with similar core capabilities, including 30,000 Pa suction, spinning mop, and auto dock functions, but the release does not provide a price for that model. In short, the P70 Pro Ultra targets buyers willing to pay more for enhanced automation and maintenance reduction features, while the P20 Ultra signals MOVA’s attempt to lure cost conscious shoppers into the same cleaning performance tier.

Beyond the hardware, one important catch for any smart cleaner is privacy and data use. The MOVA release centers on hardware and automation, but real world ownership often involves app enabled control and map storage. The potential trade off is straightforward: the more the unit learns your home layout for navigation, the more data may flow to cloud services or stored profiles. Prospective buyers should review how maps are stored, how long cleaning data is retained, and whether there are on device or local control options that avoid cloud dependencies.

For practitioners and shoppers, the big questions are where these two MOVA models land in real world performance, how often you will want to rely on the anti tangle features in hair heavy homes, and whether the P70 Pro Ultra’s premium tools translate into meaningful time savings. Expect real world tests to scrutinize battery life under heavy suction, noise levels at peak power, and the durability of the MaxiReach attachment near baseboards and furniture. A key unknown is how the P20 Ultra performs relative to the P70 Pro Ultra on long cleaning sessions, and whether the value focused model sacrifices any maintenance free convenience that buyers might expect from a premium line.

Overall, MOVA is signaling a clear intent to own more of the premium cleaning lane while offering a more approachable option for budget minded buyers. If you want the shortest path to deep cleaning with fewer manual steps, the P70 Pro Ultra is the model to watch, with the P20 Ultra providing a fallback for price conscious shoppers who still crave strong suction and automated docking.
